The primary objective of this policy is to provide general guidelines regarding the protection of Personal Data (collection, use, disclosure, monitoring, etc.) of the company  WPS – VASSILIOS PAPADEROS S.A. – 19th km Lavriou Avenue, 19002, Paiania, Attica.

These conditions are formulated considering both the rapid technological advancements, particularly in the field of the Internet, and the existing – though not fully developed – legal framework concerning these matters.

In this context, any relevant future regulations will be addressed within the scope of this section.

The Company reserves the right to amend the terms of personal data protection with notification to visitors/users within the existing or forthcoming legal framework.

Should any visitor/user disagree with the terms of personal data protection stipulated in this section, they are obliged not to use the Company’s services.

The company manages and processes your personal data in full compliance with the relevant articles of the GDPR (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, etc.).

d) is accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; every reasonable step must be taken to ensure that personal data that is inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay (“accuracy”),

e) is kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed; personal data may be stored for longer periods insofar as the personal data will be processed solely for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes in accordance with Article 89(1), provided that the appropriate technical and organizational measures required by the regulation are taken to safeguard the rights and freedoms of the data subject (“storage limitation”),

f) is processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage, using appropriate technical or organizational measures (“integrity and confidentiality”).

Some of the personal information the Company holds about you may be classified as sensitive personal data, under the data protection law and other related laws.

The company may collect personal information about you from various sources, including:

(a) from you when you agree to take a service from our company, in which case it may include your personal and/or business contact details and your consent,

(b) from you when you contact our company with a request for information, and

(c) from publicly available sources.

Consequently, none of these may be wholly or partially sold, copied, modified, reproduced, republished, or ‘downloaded’, transmitted, or distributed in any way.

The information that you provide to the company or that the company holds will be used by the company to:

In no case does our company distribute your personal data to third parties (Article 11. Law 2472/1997) and according to the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016).

In no case are your personal data sold or rented to third parties.

These data are used by our company to continuously improve your service.

The company may disclose information only if legally requested for legal or regulatory purposes, in the context of judicial proceedings or potential legal proceedings.

10. PROTECTION OF INFORMATION

The company maintains strict security measures and controls to protect your personal information.

This includes, according to GDPR (Articles 5, 28, 30, 32, 33, 34, 40, 55 – 58, etc.), a set of administrative measures, security policies, procedures, and practices to verify your identity when you call us, encryption of data on our websites and files, creating appropriate backups of data, etc., in order to ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements.

13. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

Under Law 2472/97 and the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, as applicable), you have the right to be informed, access, erase, transfer, correct, and object (Articles 15 – 22 of the GDPR). Specifically, you have the right to receive, upon request, free information about the personal data stored about you. Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of your data, effective for the future, upon request.

Additionally, according to legal provisions, you have the right to correction and deletion of such data.

You may exercise the following rights, as applicable:

– The right of access, to know which data we process about you, for what purpose, and the recipients of it (GDPR Article 15 ‘Right of access by the data subject’),

– The right to correction, to correct any deficiencies or inaccuracies in your data (GDPR Article 16 ‘Right to rectification’),

– The right to erasure (right to be forgotten), to have your personal data deleted from our files, provided their processing is no longer necessary (GDPR Article 17 ‘Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)’),

– The right to restriction of processing, in case you contest the accuracy of your data (GDPR Article 18 ‘Right to restriction of processing’),

– The right to be informed of any rectification or deletion of personal data or restriction of processing carried out in accordance with Article 16, Article 17(1), and Article 18 (GDPR Article 19 ‘Notification obligation regarding rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing’),

– The right to data portability, to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (GDPR Article 20 ‘Right to data portability’),

– The right to object, particularly if you do not wish your data to be used for direct marketing purposes of our products and services, including profiling (GDPR Article 21 ‘Right to object’ and GDPR Article 22 ‘Automated individual decision-making, including profiling’).

The company commits to providing you, to the extent technically feasible, automated means for exercising your rights and to respond to your requests initially free of charge, unless your requests are frequent and voluminous, causing administrative costs, which will then be charged to you.

The company will make every possible effort to respond to each relevant request within thirty (30) days from its receipt. However, if due to the complexity of your request or the volume of information it is not possible to satisfy your request within thirty days, the company will inform you in writing within the above timeframe about the reasons for the delay and will make every possible effort to satisfy your request as soon as possible and in any case within an additional two months.

In any case, you have the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority, which can accept complaints either in written form at its protocol (Kifisias 1-3, PC 115 23, Athens) or electronically (www.dpa.gr).

14. SOCIAL PLUGINS – BUTTONS

Our company uses Social Plugins (“buttons”) on our website, such as Google Map. When you visit our website, these buttons are normally deactivated, meaning they do not send data to social networks without your active participation. To use these buttons, you must activate them by clicking with your mouse. Upon activation, a direct connection is established with the server of the respective social network.

If you are a member of a social network and do not want the data collected when you visit our website to be linked to your stored data on the social network, you must log out of the respective social network before activating the buttons.

We have no control over the volume of data processed by social networks through their buttons. 15. APPLICABLE LAW AND OTHER TERMS

The last update and modification of this privacy policy occurred on 11.10.2019. The above terms and conditions of use of the Company, as well as any modification, change, or alteration thereof, are governed and supplemented by Greek law, European Union law, and relevant international treaties. Any provision of the above terms found to be contrary to law automatically ceases to apply and is removed from the present, without affecting the validity of the remaining terms. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Company and the visitor/user of its pages and services and binds only them. No modification of these terms will be considered part of this agreement unless it has been expressed in writing and incorporated herein.
