Reuse & recycling of wooden packaging materials
At WPS – VASSILIOS PAPADEROS S.A., we encourage the reuse and, as a second option, the recycling of pallets. Based on strict quality standards, we select the pallets that can withstand an extended life cycle through reuse, while the ones that are beyond repair are recycled. This helps save natural resources and energy, as well as keep packaging costs low.
We therefore buy the wooden pallets left over from the unpackaging of your raw materials or products, in any quantity, even if they are in need of repairs.
At WPS, we also sell quality-checked used pallets, both of standard (80×120, 100×120, 110×130 and more) and of non-standard dimensions, at competitive prices.
We also buy wooden crates in functional condition, as well as lumber left over from the unpackaging of your products.
* All the products designed, manufactured or sold by WPS – VASSILIOS PAPADEROS S.A. are certified under the ISPM 15 Standard or can be processed and certified under this Standard’s requirements.

Our reuse mentality is based on the Greek word “άνακυκλέω”, meaning to bring something back to its original state, making a full circle. In the reuse process, the used product, with only minor repairs if necessary, is used again for the same purpose for which it was made.
